Happy New Year!

Today is the first day of 2008, a brand new year. This year will be full of changes in our lives. Ben and I will have been together for 7 years in April and married for 2 years in August. We will also welcome our first child at the end of August. Being the beginning of a brand new year there are some things in my life I would like to change or improve. Here are my new year resolutions:
1. Eat healthy: I know that this is important for my baby, but I want to continue to keep my body healthy by watching what I eat. I will try my best to increase my fruit, vegetable and dairy especially during the next 9 months.
2. Exercise: I joined a gym in October and believe it or not, I actually enjoy going to the gym. My goal is to continue going to the gym at least twice a week if not more. I want to keep my body in good condition. Plus I hear it's good to keep exercising to prepare your body for labor. =)
3. Be prepred: My goal is to be fully prepared mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually when our baby arrives. I want to read about parenthood and how I can be the best parent I can be in today's society. I also want to continue going to church and grow spiritually with my husband.
4. Be the best wife and mommy: I will continue to be a understanding and compasionate wife to Ben and prepare myself to be a understanding and compasionate mother to little "peanut".

So, these are the four thing that I will strive to accomplish in 2008. I will hold my family and friends accountable for helping me stick to my resolutions. =)

I hope everyone has a wonderful 2008 and please contunue praying for Ben and I along with our "little peanut".

P.S. I highly recommend Your Baby's first year week by week & Your pregnancy week by week-in fact you may borrow them if you like :)

I'm crying! This is so wonderful. You and Ben are going to be fabulous parents. I'm so excited for the two of you and can't wait to spoil your little "peanut"! Your resolutions are perfect and so sensible. I believe I will adopt them as my resolutions too (can't start preparing too early, right?)
